Ayurvedic Kidney stone Treatment
Kidney removes wastage and fluid from the blood as the form of urine. Sometimes there are so much wastage and less fluid that can’t be converted to urine and stick up together in the kidney. These wastages are called kidney stone. This disease is also known as nephrolithiasis. It can affect any part of the urinary tract.
Causes
When an excessive amount of urine contains crystals like calcium, uric acid, and oxalate stored in the kidney, Kidney stones are formed. There are various types of kidney stones such as calcium stones, struvite stones, uric acid stones, and cystine stones. The main reasons for developing kidney stones are dehydration, improper diet, obesity, surgery, and digestive disease. The genetical problem can also play a role in causing kidney stones in children and young people.
Symptoms
- Severe pain in the groin area
- Blood in urine
- Vomiting and nausea
- White blood cells in the urine
- Reduced amount of urine excreted
- Burning sensation during urination
- Persistent urge to urinate
Treatment
Eat three leaves of Bryophyllum pinnatum (Patrhatata or Amara poi) every day morning and evening before two hours of breakfast or dinner. Take five to six sips of lukewarm water after eating the leaves.
Prevention
- Increase the intake of fluid.
- Avoid taking animal-based protein foods.
- Avoid salty food.
