Ayurvedic Constipation Treatment
Constipation is a health disorder associated with bowel movements. In Ayurveda constipation is known as Vibandh. In constipation, the excretion system of the body doesn’t work normally. Constipation patient faces the issue of hard and dry stools, abdominal pain and a feeling of incomplete bowel movement. It is a common disease among people and People generally don’t take it seriously.
Causes
The common causes of constipation are irregular and unhealthy diets, inadequate fluid intake and poor bowel movement. An in disciplinary lifestyle that comprises inactiveness of the body for a long time and low consumption of fiber-rich food can lead to constipation. All these factors make the gastrointestinal tract stubborn to ingest and excrete foods properly. In such circumstances constipation is inevitable.
Symptoms
- Dyspepsia (indigestion)
- Abdominal pain
- Having hard or lumpy stools
- Flatulence
- Feeling like there is a blockage in your rectum obstructing bowel movements
- Lack of appetite
- sickness
Treatment
Sock two dry figs in a cup of water every night and eat the fully swelled figs in the morning on empty stomach. Don’t take anything to eat or drink for 45 minutes. Follow the same procedure for the night means sock 2 figs in the morning and consume in the evening.
Prevention
- Avoid heavy, oily, spicy and fried foods that are difficult to digest.
- Do not eat food in front of the TV or the disturbed environment as it leads to the infrequent bowel movement.
- Avoid psychological factors like stress, anxiety, fear, jealousy, and sorrow that lead to bad toilet habits which cause constipation.
